Exploring Historic Route 66

My American road trip begins in Pontiac, IL where folks from around the world come to experience small town America and learn about historic Route 66.

This quaint town is rich in American history and the locals are as friendly as people get.  I stopped into the Route 66 Museum and of course the Pontiac Museum and explored the beautiful swinging bridges and Chatauqua Park.
